My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT helps people understand the relationship between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and coping patterns. I use CBT in a way that is practical, collaborative, and adapted to the needs of each client. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, build useful tools, and create meaningful change in daily life.

Therapy with me is collaborative, warm, and grounded. I aim to create an environment where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to explore what is difficult, and challenged in helpful ways when growth calls for it. I want therapy to feel real and useful, not cold, overly formal, or disconnected from everyday life.

That is completely normal. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to handling things on your own or are not sure what to expect. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. It is okay to start where you are.

The first session is usually a chance for us to get a sense of what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and any relevant background that may help guide the work. It is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for me and ask any questions you may have. The goal is to begin building understanding, clarity, and a foundation for the work ahead.
